Infinite take over Sesame Player for season 2. While by Mblaq the show has contend with different segments, this time it really doesn’t have any. Or it does when you count making problems for this or that.
I love Infinite but this is the first variety show that I saw from first to last episode. I already have a bias – Dongwoo – but variety shows can help to place the rest of the members by getting them know like this.
After seeing first few episodes I trough this has concept like that: running away and not get caught, and Sungyeol`s midnight secrets revealing. Maybe this was also what they were first aiming for, but rewrite the idea since Sungyeol was caught twice.
Okay let’s go little more into detail – yes, its spoiler, its written big in title. If you don’t want to read the spoiler and are interested only in a link to the show, they just skip down to the bottom.
The main thing is running away. In the first episode they all manage to run away, but since they weren’t organist good they lost each other and L happen to be cough really fast. His freedom didn`t last long. And so he became the spy and corporate with the managers that were hunting the member. It’s interesting to see what manager in Korea do – he is practical babysitter for the band or if you wanted to say bit different – maid for all.
I felt really bad for Dongwoo when his team left him behind until I saw that he is actually happy about that situation…until he got cough. And I was dying when it was relieved what brought him down – his act of happiness to be free from Sunggyu and Woohyun.

When the sun set and everyone was sleeping it was time for Sungyeol to shine. He start to revel members secrets and some of them really surprised me. Sunggyu, man, I think only pharmacy has more medicaments as he. Waw, what a deep sleeper Dongwoo is. I think there could explode a bomb next to him and he wouldn’t even move…he would maybe just screech his ear because the sound would tickle him and that was.
This is in the middle of the night and this is no reaction team.
In the second episode the managers were more alert so escape wasn’t as easy as the first time, so they decide to divide into 3 groups. While the first two could escape the last group would cover for them until they can escape as well. This time the last group wasn’t so luck and they got caught even before they could run away. Like previous time, we got 2 spy`s this time – Dongwoo and Woohyun. Like in previous episode is also this time Hoya the only survivor.
Sungyeol`s time as a spy at the dorm got disturbed by Sungjong who caught on him. He caught him with Dongwoo`s pig underwear. Does he go shopping with Mir? (For those who don’t know yet – Mir owns elephant underwear).

In eposode 3 we got birth of the Yadong couple, also known as erotic couple. Yadong = porn in korean, for all those that don’t know it yet and are wondering why erotic couple. It’s funny how they even joke they are filming We got married (another Korean variety show). I would say that Dongwoo and Hoya have it better staying at home as the rest that was riding long time to Sungyeols town that has nothing that he promised them. Sungyeol is funny, he needed to ask his mother where their home is. But okay, they moved when he wasn`t leaving at home any more.
I need to say that is really disappointing to see how they waist a time to go back even they knew they have shuttle later, not really professional.
Sungyeol`s segment is disturbed again. This time Woohyun came him before that used that time to reveal his secrets. This wouldn’t happen when the show wouldn’t be aired before filming all. Yes, Woohyun saw his secret on TV. It was funny how he was upset about the girl group fact. Would it be better if people would thing he likes more male groups?
It’s already episode 4. That goes quick.
Since Sungyeol`s midnight secrets revealing was already caught twice, it was time for a new plan. So was banana prank born. Even if it was funny to see all the reactions it still pity to spoil a fruit with vinegar.
I can’t believe that L picked up the banana that felt on the floor and eat it. On that messy dorm floor! Shouldn’t he take that as a sign? Maybe because of that was his banana okay.

Was even his own victim.
Now is again time to get away. This time stayed Sunggyu and L at home as bite.
Sungyeol: “My shoe disappeared.”
And L: “Then just go without it!”
But in that mess of shoes is no wonder that he can’t find it, I wonder how they could find anything.
They are like kids playing in the water at the Han river. And Yadong couple has his Outdoor outing.
L what is with that bamboo stick? You`re not a cat why play with it?
Episode 5 was different as previous ones but so needed. They finally cleaned the dorm. Serious, in what a dirt they live. Unfortunately they are not the only idols. Get me there and I will clean for you, I just need enough for live and I`m fine. And no, I don`t have any hidden intentions. *cough*
It looked like that was the first time they cleaned, since they needed to buy all the supplies to even start. Why didn’t they do their own rooms and divide the other 3 rooms between them? And while all where cleaning the leader walked from one room to another and give orders. That made him look really lazy. And than on the other hand Sungyeol and Woohyun who scrubs kitchen and bathroom.
But to be true – that wasn’t an act of wanting to live in better place, no they were told a girl group is coming to visit them. You can probably imagine they never came, it was just the way to make them do something. And because of the falls reason the dorm was in the next episode again in previous state. I understand that they daily life is stressful and long but it wouldn`t kill anyone if they would clean right after itself right away. It would stay clean longer. But it that is still to hard, that offer above is still valid.
In episode 6 L got his revenge on banana prank. He brought yummy coffee with salt. I think his main purpose was to get Sungyeol, then he is the biggest coffee lover. And his mission was a big succeed when he took his cup thinking it is okay since L was drinking it. But what he didn’t know – he was only sucking the air on the straw.
In this episode you can also see how hard they work right before comeback. You could also say this is a little bit laid back episode, since they don’t escape but take that time to rest and gain some energy back before practice again.
Episode 7 is really interesting. Of course they run away again, but this time they actually do something useful. They promote themselves and their new song Be mine. Everything started as game, otherwise it would be boring, right? Divided in two teams they walk in Hongdae where they try to find a shop that would play their song. If not one team tried to get them play it. If they succeed the other team danced for penalty. In audio shop they find out their album is number 1 in weekly sells and with bribe they will sign the album if they buy it, they helped to sold out the rest.
They also came up with the idea to dance on the side-walk in the middle of the street. And while they felled embarrassed the time before and after the dance is for me to watch how they try to hide middle of the street even more embarrassing. Sunggyu, how the hell did you think you can hide behind traffic signal lights? Or did you hope magical to disappear? Probably that one.
Episode 8 and 9 belong together and are the final ones. Since Dongwoo is an easy target they tough he could try to prank the members. And that Sungyeol is always the one who organized the pranks should help him. But what he doesn’t know – he is a double spy. And the fact that other members know that he will prank them, because they were warned. So he doesn’t really has a change. Poor baby is victim of prank again.
Beside that, they also recall the episodes and reveal secrets. While the other members talk about that one person the one can defend itself at the end and until them he can suck on the pacifier. It’s cute to see how Dongwoo bits on it. The boys also broth maknae Sungjong, who complains he had to less screen time in the episodes, to stage of emergency with all the talk. I think he got with that more than enough attention.

So Woohyun is a sweet talker. Sungjong thinks he is prettier as girl group., actually is this more a fact.
What could you learn from this show?
1. You could do everything with Dongwoo in the night and he wouldn’t even notice anything. And no worry about L, he doesn’t show any reaction either.
2. If you want to prank anyone Dongwoo is the perfect target.
3. You can find a lot of useless things in Dongwoos backpack.
4. Hoya is a player and can keep a poker face to the end.
5. Hoya will go deaf soon because of his earphones in the night.
6. Woohyun is a sweet talker but only to females.
7. Sungjong put his anger out on his teddy bear.
8. This is the important one: whenever you see a big crowd or cameras go watch what it is, because they probably are filming drama or show. You never know what star can you see.
What did Infinite gain? Free time and play time. What did they lose? Image. But don’t worry, fans understand this and love you even more.
